While Half Life was generally considered way ahead of its time when it was first released in 1997, Half Life 2 saw a complete overhaul of the game. Right from the graphics, the game play to the storyline, everything was worked upon. What remained same was the hour’s gamers would spend racking their brains to solve a particular puzzle, or pump bullets into one alien or another.
Here are some Half Life 2 cheat codes, tricks and hints to make life easier for people out there who are deciding whether to catch lunch or spend some more time trying to fly the rag tag motorboat above the wall, or deciding to give one last try to either the bricks to get up the platform or keep the door as a plank to climb upwards. To enable Half-Life 2 cheat codes, first add "-console" to the command line parameter of the Half-Life 2cheay codes start menu icon. To do so, left click start menu then navigate to the Half-Life 2 shortcut icon, right click and select "properties". In the Target field add "-console" (w/o quotes) i.e. "C:\Program Files\Half-Life 2\hl2.exe" -console.
Then start the game normally. While playing the game, press the tilde sign. Enter the particular Half Life 2 cheat codes for the desired effect. To activate Half Life 2 cheats, you will have to activate the Half Life 2 cheat codes. This is a bit tricky and requires a fair amount of concentration. Select the Properties of your Half Life Shortcut by right clicking on it. On the properties tab, add -console in the 'target' field.
